Dog Halloween Costume Events Across Toronto

Your dog works hard on their Halloween costume... or rather you do. Either way, you need to show it off and if you do not have kids you cannot really take your dog around trick-or-treating for candy they cannot eat.

Here are a list of events pawfect for you and your dog to show off your costumes, and even have a chance for some great photography and prizes. Some of the event details are not quite finalized but not to fear, we will be updating this blog post as soon as everything is set. 

1. Awkward Halloween Pet Photos

2. Save Our Scruff 101 Event: Halloween Edition

Rainhard Brewing will be donating $1 from every beer sold to the amazing Toronto Rescue, Save Our Scruff on October 28. This brewery also made our list of Toronto breweries you can bring your pup! There will be FREE FRISBEES from Bone and Bred (limited quantities).

3. Tom & Sawyer's Haunted House for OSPCA

Tom & Sawyer is throwing a haunted house at their amazing Leslieville location to raise money for OSPCA. Their Facebook event is not up yet but tickets will be limited so make sure you follow them to get a ticket before they run out.

4. The Village Dog Pack Spooktacular Dog Walk

Celebrate Halloween by getting in costume with your pup for a costume contest and walk around Liberty Village.

5. Howl-O-Ween Unleashed Pup Costume Party & Parade

Co-Hosted by Toronto’s infamous Helmut The Pug, this year’s Halloween pawty by Unleashed in the City is going to be one for the barks! Discover the reason why this event has been running strong for 5 years.

6. Sorauren Park Costume Contest

The annual costume contest in Roncesvalles will have a grand prize for puppy and non-puppy category, sponsored by Bone and Bred. There will be gift bags for the first 40 dogs as well!

10. Bark ‘n  Yapp Halloween Dog Parade and Costume Contest

"Building on our outstanding success from 2016 and 2017, Bark ‘n Yapp is hosting its 3rd Annual Howloween Pup Parade & Costume Contest. Join 100’s of dogs and their owners as we parade along Fort York Blvd between Spadina Ave and Bathurst St, with multiple stops along the way for both pup and human treats. This will be the largest event of its kind in Toronto. Even if you don’t have a dog, come out and cheer for your favourites.This is a FREE family-friendly/community-friendly party and charity event."
